MCH Hosts Open House Honoring Retiring Physician

March 30th event honors retirement of Dr. Lisa Ramey following 41 years of service

Peterborough – Monadnock Community Hospital (MCH) extends the public a warm invitation to attend an Open House commemorating the extraordinary service of Dr. Lisa Ramey, following the announcement of her retirement. The Open House will be held at Jaffrey Family Medicine on March 30th from 4-6PM. The Jaffrey office is located at 82 Peterborough Street, Jaffrey.

Dr. Ramey’s kind and compassionate approach to patient care has touched the lives of thousands of patients throughout her years of service. In total, she has practiced medicine for 41 years in the Monadnock Region. Originally a graduate of Boston University, Dr. Ramey did her Residency at St. Michael’s Hospital in Wisconsin.

“We are tremendously grateful for the compassionate care and extraordinary service delivered over so many years by Dr. Ramey,” said Cyndee McGuire, President and CEO of MCH. “Her dedication and kindhearted approach to medicine will certainly be missed by each and every one of her patients. I sincerely hope that many of those who knew her can join us for our Open House on March 30th, as we gather to honor her and say goodbye.”

Monadnock Community Hospital is a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital offering medical, surgical and Intensive Care, Obstetrics, Pediatrics, and Mental Health services. In addition, a wide variety of outpatient services are available, including an extensive Primary Care Network, Wellness, Cardiac and Physical Rehabilitation Services, 24-hour Emergency Care, a fully equipped laboratory and an extensive Radiology department.
